Matt Montgomery is a musician, audio technician, sound editor and teacher who is passionate to help individuals make great music. He works with professionals in a variety of entertainment sectors to share his expertise in recording production and sound design. He also enjoys helping those new to the music industry identifying and developing their unique talents.
Matt is a graduate from Algonquin College’s Music Industry Arts program where he enhanced his skills:
- Performing the drums, guitar and the piano
- Producing multi-track recordings in a professional studio using Pro Tools and a variety of other audio engineering and music equipment.
- Producing professional music and post-production sound for TV and film
- Recording musical instruments including the voice using different types of microphones and microphone techniques
- Operating and maintaining multi-track recording systems and signal flow in a typical studio operation
